Box Office Xpress®
Allocated System
How ticket sales are handled
The following is a summary of how customers purchase tickets on-line using the Box Office Xpress Allocated System. Keep in mind that, if you would like to see a live demonstration of the program in action, please contact us and we would be happy to arrange it.
The Sales Process
1. Your customers will be able to purchase the tickets seemingly
through your website. We handle the design and setup.
2. They will select the event for which they wish to purchase tickets.
3. They then select the number of tickets (optionally, by price
type, such as "adult"). And, if reserved seating, they then select the
specific seats that they want (or seats can be assigned for them).
Note that the system has an option that
does not allow the customer to leave an isolated single seat between
their selected seats and already sold seats.
4. They may continue to purchase tickets for other events, if they
wish.
5. Contact information is then collected from the customer.
6. The customer then goes through the
secure payment
process, paying by any major credit card or PayPal.
7. The customer also chooses to have
the tickets mailed to them (by you), or held for pickup ("will call").
You will be provided with a list of will call customers.
8. You have complete access to all order information and
customer data.
9. You can add the customer info to your in-house ticketing program (we
are hoping to eventually automate this through
Box Office Xpress Junior) and,
if required, print their tickets for will call.
10. A wide selection of reports are available that can
be viewed at any time.
